Donate your old glasses frames
Old spectacles or vintage sunglasses hanging around? Don't throw them away to end up in landfill - donate your glasses by sending to Peep to be recycled or upcycled. We’re accepting donations again this year in 2024.
Donate your old frames and we'll do good on your behalf by upcycling, restoring and reselling them, benefiting our charity partners Lions Club along with planting trees with Trees for Cities. If we can’t restore or reuse, we’ll fully recycle them or reuse their parts for glasses repairs.
Send us your vintage glasses or modern frames and you’ll receive a £10 voucher* towards your next purchase from Peep.
You can also donate direct to Lions Club who will repurpose glasses frames or use them to raise money for sight related charity projects across the UK and overseas.
If you can't bear to part with them, we can reglaze and restore your favourite vintage glasses or modern frames with our Peep Polish restoration service.
Once you’ve found a purpose for your old glasses, you may be in need of some new-to-you frames. Take a peep at our deadstock vintage, restored and refurbished preloved glasses and sunglasses and join the rewear revolution.
Donate to Trees for Cities
We partner up with the guys at Trees for Cities to help breathe new life back into urban areas. For every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, they plant native trees where it’s needed most in the UK.
Trees are vital to our ecosystem and remove tonnes of air pollution, including carbon dioxide, dust and other gaseous toxins. Planting a range of tree species can build resistance to pests and disease.
Trees for Cities are a brilliant charity that work both within the UK and overseas to create greener cities. From urban forests to the creation of edible playgrounds, Trees for Cities strengthen communities by creating green spaces through volunteering opportunities and inspiring children to grow and eat good food while connecting with nature.
