Custom Handmade Frame – FAQs

Can you replicate my current glasses frame?

Yes — our custom copy service can recreate your favourite frame, even if it’s discontinued or beyond repair. We use your original as the reference to craft a close match in shape, size and fit.

How long does the handmade custom frame take?

Standard turnaround is approximately 12 weeks. Fast Track (6 weeks) is available for an extra £100, and Super Fast Track (3 weeks) for an extra £200.

Can I choose the colour and style?

Absolutely. You can choose from a wide range of premium acetates (including Italian Mazzucchelli and vintage deadstock). We can also post physical samples so you can choose confidently.

What’s included with a custom handmade frame?

Your order includes the handmade frame built to your specification, finished and fitted ready for glazing. If you’d like lenses, we can quote and add them separately based on your prescription, thickness and coatings.

Can I spread the cost of my order?

Yes — you can pay in full, or choose a deposit now and the balance later. Clearpay may also be available to split payments into interest-free instalments (subject to approval).

Will you need to keep my original frame?

For best results, we recommend keeping your frame with us during the build so we can reference it at key stages. If you need it back temporarily, we can return it mid-way.

Can I reorder the same frame in future?

Yes. We store your measurements and specifications so you can reorder easily or create a new version in a different colour later on.
