FL-41 is a specialist rose-tinted lens designed to make bright environments more comfortable. Unlike sunglasses, which simply darken everything, FL-41 selectively filters a narrow band of blue-green light (around 480–520 nm) that many people find harsh or triggering. Do I have to join the programme?
No. You can order FL-41 lenses outright as a standard product — starting from £70 plus any coatings/upgrades. The Community Feedback Programme (CFP) simply makes it more affordable while helping us gather real-world experiences.

Can I use my own frame?
Yes — provided it’s in good condition and suitable for glazing. We’ll check it on arrival. In the CFP, own-frame fitting is £30.
Do I need a prescription?
No — FL-41 is available in non-prescription, single-vision, or your full prescription, including varifocals.
What coatings are available?
Everyday anti-reflect (+£20) and Easy Life anti-reflect with 2-year scratch guarantee (+£40). Thinner lenses require at least Everyday coating.
Can I get FL-41 lenses as varifocals?
Yes — varifocals are available. Typical CFP base add-ons (before thinning or light-reactive) are: Everyday £100 (Peep frame) / £130 (own frame), Natural £140 / £170, Natural Luxe £180 / £210.
Do FL-41 lenses come in different thicknesses?
Yes: standard 1.5, 1.6 (+£40), 1.67 (+£80), and 1.74 (+£120). Thinner lenses require at least Everyday coating.
Are light-reactive FL-41 lenses available?
Yes — add Light Reactive for +£40.
