End tips – FAQs

Are these suitable for plastic/acetate sides?

This service is for metal temples. Acetate tips are usually part of the arm and shaped with heat; see Adjustments & fitting or Replacement Sides.

Will new tips stop the glasses slipping?

New tips plus a proper ear curl usually improve grip a lot. We can also tweak hinge tension during fitting.

Do you have other colours?

We stock Black, Brown and Crystal as standard. If you need a specific finish, mention it on the Check-In Form and we’ll confirm availability.
