Custom screw – FAQs

The screw keeps backing out — can you stop that?

Yes. We inspect threads and re-tap if needed, and can apply appropriate thread retention so it holds under normal use.

Part of the screw is snapped off inside — can you remove it?

Yes. We offer a drill & custom screw option to extract the broken shank and fit a new screw without damaging the hinge.

Do you use stainless or brass screws?

We stock a range of materials and head types. We’ll choose the most compatible option and confirm if a special finish is required.

Will the arm sit straight after?

Yes — hinge alignment and arm straightening are included.
