Custom screw – FAQs

The screw keeps coming loose — can you stop that?

Yes. We inspect the threads, re-tap if needed, and can apply appropriate thread retention so the screw holds under normal use.

Part of the screw is snapped inside the hinge — can it be removed?

Yes. We offer a drill & custom screw option to safely extract the broken shank and refit without damaging the hinge.

Do you match the original screw?

We select the closest compatible size, thread and head type. If a specialist or cosmetic match is required, we’ll confirm first.

Will the arm sit straight afterwards?

Yes — hinge alignment and arm straightening are included as part of the service.
