Our Eyewear MOT is a full check-over and refresh to get your frames feeling right again. We’ll straighten, realign and tighten everything so they sit comfortably, along with a deep clean and fresh nose pads where needed.

It’s ideal if your glasses are feeling a bit loose, wonky, or just not quite how they used to be.

What’s included:

• Hinge tightening and adjustments
• Deep clean (ultrasonic where suitable)
• Replacement nose pads (if applicable)
• Overall condition check

Turnaround: usually 7–10 working days from when we receive your glasses.

How it works

  1. Order online to receive your order number.
  2. Complete the Frame Check-In Form.
  3. Post your glasses with your name + order number in the parcel.

If we spot anything more serious once your glasses are with us, we’ll always check with you before carrying out any additional work.

What is an Eyewear MOT?

It’s a full service for your glasses — we straighten, tighten, clean and check them over so they feel more comfortable and secure again.

Are nose pads included?

Yes, replacement nose pads are included where suitable. If your frame uses a specific type, we’ll let you know first.

Can you fix broken parts during an MOT?

The MOT is for adjustment and maintenance. If anything is broken, we’ll advise on the correct repair before doing anything extra.

Will my glasses come back like new?

They’ll feel cleaner, tighter and better aligned. Cosmetic wear may still remain depending on the age and condition of the frame.
