Turnaround: typically 7–10 working days from receipt.
Suitability & limitations
- Metal frames only. Not suitable for plastic, ceramic-coated, or anodised finishes.
- Touch-up is a best-match colour; we can’t guarantee an exact factory shade or sheen.
- Paint removal may reveal solder joints or minor base-metal tone variation.
- Severe corrosion, deep pitting, or structural cracks may be non-repairable.
How it works
- Order online to receive your order number.
- Complete the Frame Check-In Form (attach clear close-ups of affected areas).
- Post your glasses with your name + order number inside the parcel.
Metal frame paint – FAQs
Can you match the original colour exactly?
We’ll get as close as possible, but an exact factory match isn’t guaranteed due to ageing, finish type, and lighting differences.
Is touch-up durable?
Yes, but like any surface finish it can wear with heavy use. Treat gently and avoid harsh chemicals.
What will the frame look like after full paint removal?
It will show the silver-tone base metal. Solder joins and slight tone variation may be visible — that’s normal for bare metal.
Do you repaint entire frames?
We offer localised touch-ups and full paint removal. Full re-sprays in a new colour aren’t part of this service.
Can you do plastic or anodised frames?
No — this service is for metal frames only. Plastic polishing is a separate service, and anodised finishes aren’t suitable.
